I learned an interesting fact: your home’s WiFi is actually not the best thing to livestream on. The best way to live stream is to connect an Ethernet cable into your homes modem. That is the best way to get the clearest picture quality. WiFi is second best and your 4G is the least favorable.
I’m also learning that I don’t have any of the correct gear. I definitely thought it would be as simple as pointing my phone or iPad at myself and filming but engaging an audience with the iPad/iPhone over live streaming is very different than engaging a live audience. One needs all of the camera equipment and mic’s/lavalier’s to make it work. Sound quality and picture quality absolutely matter when it comes to live streaming.
I’m missing my live audiences and all the goofy, silly kids who are at my shows but this will do for now.
