It’s so important to us that parents and caregivers have an amazing experience wherever we perform. Getting out of the house can be difficult sometimes. And Winter is challenging because you can’t go to the playground or the park as much as you’d like to. So we feel that it is important that if parents and caregivers come to our shows they learn important musical ideas that they can take home with their children.
Parents who love the show ask us, “Will you be back next week?” And sometimes the answer is “No.” Currently we are doing multi-week residencies with New York Public Library and a handful of their 88 branches so that is an exception to the rule. But we want the shows, even if they are a one-off experience, to make a powerful impression. One way we would like to enhance this is to have follow up materials on our YouTube Channel, website and digital handouts that you can access after seeing our shows with free music activities that you can do at home.
