Last week I had a crazy adventure with Teddy. Teddy came with me to Albany, NY to give a presentation to 70 librarians. He was so good on stage with me. And everyone adored him.
Afterwards we took a trip to the science museum and the local aquarium. Teddy had a blast. I’m not going to lie – was it stressful to try and find coverage and then to put all of Teddy’s stuff together and bring him with me to the presentation? Absolutely. But – was going to the aquarium and the science museum a huge reward? 100%. That’s the kind of time I want to be spending with my son all the time. And for the next couple of days he and I were so close. There was definitely a shift in the way we were interacting and it was much closer after going to the museum and aquarium together.
